Bachelors: this app is the solution for the lonely lockdown days
Yes, there it is: the curfew. I probably don't need to tell you that it's really terrible, but I find myself just a bit sadder than the rest. Or well, I find the singles sadder than the rest. I live alone and not being able to meet up with friends after 9 PM is quite lonely, especially when you also just work during the week.
It's already quite a shame that you can't meet people in the pub (that really feels like a past life now), but luckily you get creative with dating in times of corona. Anyway, the way of meeting: that just goes through the apps. And yes, I also went for it. After weighing the dating apps, Inner Circle came out on top for me, so I downloaded it right away. A good girlfriend of mine – also single – had this app too and had three dates (THREE) in a week and they were all fun. You can't get better advertising than that, I think.
Anyway, I have the feeling that there are Inner Circle more serious things coming out. The profiles are much more filled in with everyone's preferences, so you already know in advance whether you will have some common ground or not. Also, they are not those terribly posed, half-naked photos or just photos taken on vacation with sunglasses on. How can you really see someone like that? Luckily, I saw photos of how people really are, which I find a plus because you can also see a bit of their vibe, and that's always the most important to me. They think so too, by the way, because the photos and profiles are well screened so that these kinds of photos don't dominate. A breath of fresh air, I can tell you. Now I hope even more that the pubs and restaurants will open soon, because I need to go for drinks. With different people. Who knows, I might just become a serial dater.
