You're sitting comfortably on the couch enjoying a slice of pizza, and a cat slowly slides into your view. Yes, that paw is heading towards your pepperoni slice. Fortunately, several cat owners have gathered evidence that clearly shows that cats are completely untrustworthy when it comes to food.

No avocado
Most cats certainly do not limit their diet to expensive cans of Sheba or Whiskas treats, with the occasional freshly caught mouse or bird in between. No, if you don't keep an eye on them, they'll swipe the cinnamon rolls off your plate, and even a piece of watermelon is not safe. ‘Not crazy at all,’ says cat expert Barbara Read. ‘Although cats cannot live on vegetables alone, a little greenery now and then provides healthy variety.’ Barbara also mentions which vegetables you should avoid giving to Poekie: onions, garlic, mushrooms, spring onions, leeks, and avocado, and be careful with unripe tomatoes.
