Celebs who look like two drops of water on each other

Do you remember when that Facebook trend was a thing, where you changed your profile picture to your celebrity lookalike? I didn't participate in the trend, mainly because I haven't found my celebrity lookalike yet. You would think there must be someone out there, given the huge number of celebrities we have now... But no. It's funny that those celebrities do have a lot in common. For example, I thought for a long time that Javier Bardem and Jeffrey Dean Morgan were the same person. Turns out that's not the case, but how is that possible? These two should at least be twin brothers. But no, no relation, nothing.

And they are not the only ones in Hollywood who are indistinguishable from each other. Just check the ones below.

1. Leighton Meester vs. Minka Kelly
They both played a leading role in the thriller The Roommate, which was an extremely bad movie (in my opinion) and extremely confusing given how much these two look alike. Now, that's also a bit of the plot of the movie (one really wants to look like the other), but in terms of lookalikes, I find these two quite extreme.

2. Natalie Portman vs. Keira Knightley
I used to have more trouble telling them apart than I do now, I realize, but when they both appeared in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, I didn't understand their entire storyline because I just couldn't figure out who was who. Knightley plays the double of Portman in that movie, but since I literally saw no difference, I thought they were both Portman.

3. Amy Adams vs. Isla Fisher
These two are sisters. You can't convince me otherwise. Just look at them. They are also aware of this and often joke about it: if their new movie flops, they just insist it was the other one who played the lead role?

4. Jessica Chastain vs. Bryce Dallas Howard
For a long time, I really thought these two were the same person. Because I hadn't seen much they were in; I had only seen the Black Mirror episode with Bryce Dallas Howard (or was it Jessica Chastain?) and I thought she was so good in it. I completely understood why she was nominated for an Oscar, but it turned out to be her lookalike.

5. Javier Bardem vs. Jeffrey Dean Morgan
I find these two so sexy as well. You would think I have twice the chance of meeting them? As far as I'm concerned, there should be more lookalikes of Javier and Jeffrey around. The more, the better.

6. Will Ferrell vs. Chad Smith
These two also know very well that they look alike and find it all quite funny. They both showed up at Jimmy Fallon for a ‘drum-off’ (Chad Smith is the drummer of The Red Hot Chili Peppers) and even dressed the same for the occasion.

7. Jesse Eisenberg vs. Michael Cera
Honestly, this is the only one on the list that I don't necessarily see. Okay, they are both a bit nerdy types and mostly play those kinds of roles, but that's where the resemblance ends for me. But hey, these two names always come up in such lists, so it could well be that it's just me.

8. Katy Perry vs. Zoeey Deschanel
When Zoeey got the lead role in New Girl, she found it more annoying than flattering that she was constantly compared to the I Kissed A Girl singer. According to her, the resemblance wasn't as striking as people said. Well, with both having black hair, bangs, and blue eyes, that comparison is indeed quickly made.

9. Elijah Wood vs. Daniel Radcliffe
In talk shows, these two have indicated several times that they played along with fans and pretended to be each other. For example, Daniel signed autographs as if he were Elijah and vice versa. Well, I find that quite sporting.

10. Ed Sheeran vs. Rupert Grint
Another Harry Potter star who has a world-famous lookalike, although I really don't think these two look alike at all. The only thing they really have in common is the red hair, but come on, especially as a fan, you can see that difference, right?

11. Margot Robbie vs. Jaime Pressly vs. Emma Mackey
Last but not least, these three actresses who are often compared to each other. Or rather, the last two are mainly compared to Margot Robbie, and I see the resemblance completely. And then I think Jaime Pressly and Emma Mackey don't look that much alike, which is quite funny. Anyway, three very beautiful women. I wouldn't mind having one of them as a celebrity lookalike.
