Expedition Robinson: The Aftertalk

So, that's nice, not having to wait a whole week. Although I must say that it still hasn't fully sunk in that Thursday night and Sunday night means Expeditie Robinson, but that will come. So I have thought about it: how on earth are they going to manage this? Suddenly having a whole third group of veterans, they obviously want some airtime too. My prediction is that Thursday night is for the oldies and Sunday night is for Kamp Noord and Kamp Zuid. Are those oldies going to show that they have all the skills? Of course, we will go through the entire episode again. Yippee.
1. Okay great, my prediction is correct. Shall we make a bet on when Rob Geus will have his first arguments with the rest? I say within a day and a half.
2. I can definitely imagine that this group of oldies will have way more arguments among themselves than is the case with the other camps. All those veterans each think they know how it should be done.
3. Huh, wait, what? They are literally five seconds at the destination and already someone is announced to be leaving. Expeditie Robinson has no chill.
4. Since someone compared Wietse to Sid from Ice Age, I seriously can't see anything else.
5. Seriously, quite fun, all those flashbacks when those oldies were eliminated. I actually kind of forgot that Anna Nooshin was also participating.
6. HAHA. Rob when he saw that balance test. You can't get that man any more unfortunate, I think.
7. Ehh, why is Wietse holding his swim trunks so weirdly while walking to the beam? The word says it a bit, but... It's a swim trunk, it can get wet.
8. That pose of Loek on the beam. Delicious. Lips puckered and gaze forward.
9. It's quite a coincidence that all the veterans decided to buy exactly the same sports shoes.
10. NO. Noooo, there he goes. Poor, poor Rob. Man, man, man. He and that beam are not buddies.
11. Seriously, I'm quite curious how long (short, better said) I would last on that. Maybe I'll challenge Rob one time.
12. Well, well, say. Never thought. Bamboo actually grows in Croatia. What luck for them, will they also find a complete Ikea package for their own accommodation?
13. I have a little feeling that the production might have helped the participants here and there.
14. I have to say something about this. Do quit last time and gets to come back. Rijk Hofman is flying solo on Devil's Island for more than two weeks and gets no second chance? I absolutely do not agree with this.
15. Rob has clearly learned from last time. A tiny little handful of rice.
16. Man, man, man, man, man, man, man, man. If it's not the rice, it's the flour. No, you could say that this is not really Rob's day today.
17. Aaahh yes, this Sunday again ‘just’ the newcomers. Sorry not sorry, but I think that's more fun to watch. Although it's funny that Rob just ruins the meals steadily every week.
18. Hooo, I spoke too soon: on Sunday they already find out that the former participants are joining. Moreover, they are coming to that camp. Project X is ON.
And was there anything happening on Twitter? Oh definitely. Although it was significantly less than last Sunday, there were still some gems among them. Here they come.
Next week they will find another dilapidated hut on the island.#ExpeditieRobinson pic.twitter.com/k5vwD6il17

If they make a 3rd chance island next season, I vote for Rob #expeditierobinson

#expeditierobinson Wow, coincidentally there is a pile of bamboo on a deserted island in Croatia! What's next? Bananas?

Wietze: “Don't be such a wuss, just give me that risotto! I'll eat it up nicely!"
