Cheers this holiday season with Ginsecco

Ginsecco drink

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: Cheers this holiday season with Ginsecco.

Gin and prosecco together in one glass? Then we call it Ginsecco and it's a cocktail. And if you think this sounds too simple, then you should quickly make this cocktail. What a killer combination!

With a bubbly bottle of Italian prosecco, you can make various drinks. Did you know about the Frosecco yet? That's a slush puppy but made with prosecco. The same goes for the Limonsecco: that is prosecco mixed with a splash of Limoncello. That surely makes you thirsty, right?

Here's how to make Ginsecco
Making Ginsecco is actually super simple. The base is a shot of the best gin you can find, topped off with a splash of prosecco. You can also add a splash of elderflower syrup or crème de cassis. For garnish, you can go in any direction. With the holidays in mind, you could add a cinnamon stick, star anise, a sprig of rosemary, or thyme to the glass. Throw in a raspberry or blackberry and cheers!.
