Huh, are The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie dating?

So, I didn't see this couple coming at all. If I had to speculate about all possible Hollywood couples, I would first be busy for hours, and even then I wouldn't have come to these two. But well, miracles are clearly not out of this world yet. Because it strongly seems that The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie went on a date last week.

Just a very quick refresher: The Weeknd has been single since the breakup with Bella Hadid and according to insiders very single and ready to mingle. That means: he is quite enjoying his bachelor life. Bella Hadid has reportedly been happily with another man for about eight months, who is not much into the spotlight. So not a celebrity, but a businessman.

Back to the new couple: last Wednesday they were spotted together in a restaurant in Los Angeles. Now, Hollywood seems like a kind of village where everyone knows each other, but I didn't have the impression that these two moved in the same circles. Turns out to be different: both are committed to charitable causes; for instance, Abel (The Weeknd's real name) collaborates with the American World Food Program and donated about one million dollars, which went to aid efforts in Ethiopia. And who launched the Zahara program, which is also active in Ethiopia? Exactly: Miss Jolie.

They were spotted at hotspot Giorgio Baldi, where they were photographed as they were leaving. You can check those photos by the way here. But according to insiders, this is not the first meeting between the two. There have reportedly already been two dates and Abel's son Pax (17 years old) has also met him.

He actually went along on the date. Uh, okay? That should be fine, although it doesn't seem particularly romantic to me. But also kind of cute, because Pax is said to be a big fan of the singer.

I still need to get used to this couple, but if this becomes the new it-couple, I think it's totally okay. It just shows: Hollywood is full of surprises.
