Huh? You are pronouncing Nutella wrong

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: Everyone pronounces the name Nutella incorrectly.
Ore-gaa-no, pa-el-ja, tjo-ri-zo: when it comes to food and drink, there are quite a few tongue twisters that discussions about the hypercorrect pronunciation keep going non-stop. Also among Nutella fans, because how do you pronounce Nutella correctly? Ferrero, the maker of Nutella, finally gives the revealing answer.
Nú-tellá
99 percent of the Dutch undoubtedly pronounce it as Nú-tellá and there are actually few other options. With the Brits, it's a bit different. They have been debating for years how the name of the chocolate spread should be pronounced. Nuh-tell-uh, new-tell-uh or nut-ella; it turns out none of them are correct.
This is how it should be
So how should you pronounce Nutella? Ferrero states that the emphasis should be on the ‘n’ and the ‘ou’, and if you pronounce it correctly, it should sound like NOUtella. And that means that we (and you probably too) have been getting it wrong all this time.
Keep spreading
But however you pronounce it, it doesn't matter to them at Ferrero. The most important thing is that fans (yes, I am one of them) will continue to spread the brown (or white!) hazelnut chocolate spread forever.
