I have a bit of vaccination FOMO

Suddenly, it's raining invites for vaccinations in my social circle. Quite healthy people suddenly seem to have medical indications they weren't aware of, and are diligently scheduling vaccination appointments. And me? I've checked my mailbox three times to see if I happen to have anything. You never know. For clarity: my inbox at the door was empty.
It almost seems like I have a bit of vaccination FOMO. You don't know something exists until you get it, that becomes clear again. With every notification that comes in about yet another invitation, I think: what about us? Of course, I squeeze my hands that I'm the last in line, which means you're quite young (yes!) and have nothing wrong, but still, but still. Sometimes I feel a twinge of jealousy at the absence of the invitation for a shot. The strange thing is that people who seriously could use a double shot because they've been inside for a year due to exactly such a medical indication still have to wait weeks. I prefer not to elaborate on the vaccination policy, but that agenda could have been a bit tighter. The Hague, are you reading along?
How do I keep my vaccine FOMO in check? Except that I check with everyone if they have already received an invite. I have become a recurring visitor at Rijksoverheid, where you can check when it's your turn. From the last ten calculations I did in the past two weeks, I am still scheduled for the end of June. At least that first dose should be in my arm by then. Two words, nine letters: takes long. Oh no: be patient.
And just a little PS: Everyone can decide for themselves whether or not to take a vaccine. It's actually a kind of self-know-your-own-life situation.
