I watched the first week of Love Island and this is what I thought
Yesss, finally it's that time again: Love Island is back. And how. The villa has received a decent upgrade, with a mega pool in sunny Marbella, Spain. Sounds like a great place to hang out. But, are the Islanders a bit fun too? Last season I was a big fan of Joan and Mert, so they really set the bar high for me. Luckily, it was already a turbulent week, so that bodes well for the upcoming time. Let’s goooo.
1. Minn and Morris know each other from home. What are the chances of ending up in a show with someone from the pub? Absolutely no one in my circle participates in these kinds of things. Maybe I should look for other friends.
2. Yesss, nice: the first disrespectful one is in. I really find that disrespectful towards the Dutch language, that disrespectful.
3. I'm really not prude or anything, but I find those challenges where you have to shove your tongue into someone’s mouth right away quite intense. You just met, it's also during the day AND everyone is sober. And yes, that last part makes a big difference, I think.
4. Well, how nice to see that a love couple has already formed. And I mean Job and Morris.

7. Honestly: that big reveal where Ali supposedly has a girlfriend at home was a bit of a disappointment. How come this is already mentioned within ten seconds? Where's the drama here?
8. Seriously: how bizarrely tanned are all those Islanders already after a week? My goodness, it's like they've all spent a month in Bali.
9. I really think that Joey looks just like Yoram who participated last season. I seriously thought he was just going for a second chance.
10. It would actually be fun if the veterans made a comeback. Please bring Luca back too. I think a lot of girls would be happy about that.
