Kitkat comes with a vegan variant

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: KitKat comes with a vegan variant.

Plant-based and chocolate, does that go together? Absolutely. For example, FavorFlavs Adeline is crazy about the Hands Off My Chocolate Vegan Caramel Seasalt bar. Nestlé cannot stay behind and launches a completely vegan KitKat: the KitKat V.

The KitKat V is a new type alongside the Ruby-, Green Tea Matcha-, and Gold bars that have already appeared, but this one is completely plant-based.

Just as delicious
The milk that the ‘normal’ KitKat is made from has been replaced by a rice-based alternative, which provides the creamy taste. And that makes the KitKat V a plant-based bar that looks very much like the one in the red packaging and is actually just as delicious. In addition to being vegan, the KitKat is also made from 100 percent fair and sustainable cocoa beans.

Limited Edition
The KitKat V is a temporary bar and is currently available at Jumbo and Albert Heijn. Hopefully, you will buy it too, so that it becomes a regular item in the assortment.
