Monica Geuze is unsure about vaccination

Yes, here speaks a secret fan. I watch them weekly, Mo's vlogs. Just while tidying up, doing my makeup, or cooking. It's much more enjoyable with a bit of chatter in the background.
Monica is probably the most famous influencer from our little country, but she doesn't necessarily see it that way herself. Monica believes that she doesn't really have a role model function, not even in times of corona.
I can still remember her vlogs from a few months ago. I watched them myself and Monica had quite a clear opinion: Stay. Home. She did that together with her partner Robbert and adorable daughter Zara-Lizzy. She worked from home, coming up with new hobbies like making bracelets, crafting cards, and doing gel nails. Maybe it wasn't entirely intentional, but I still think this is quite a good example of a role model, you know.
But that staying at home, Monica doesn't really feel that anymore. Like many of us, but yes, many of us don't have a blog with a reach of millions. In an interview with Glamour, she now says that she doubts whether she will take the vaccine herself. ‘I don't even know if it's good to get vaccinated.’ She would also like to know first if the vaccine can cause harm. ‘Some say: yes, you eat a frikadel every day, that's bad for you too. But you do know that, and then it's a conscious choice.’
Well, that's how I know Monica: comparing everything to frikadellen. It's delightful. And it's refreshing that she just admits she doesn't know anything about it, because that's quite different — people who suddenly become experts in the field of vaccines, for example. It's a case of shoemaker, stick to your last. In this case, frikadellen. I can completely relate to that.
