I watched Are You The One? The Perfect Match and this is what I thought

So, time flies when you’re having fun, right? Tonight is just the final to watch. The FINAL. How fast has that gone? I was so happy with Are You The One? The Perfect Match as a new addiction, but now I have to heavily detox after tonight. Hey MTV, when are you coming out with that new season? It would be really nice if you could come up with that quickly, because this is enjoyable. Episode 9 was also a treat and I obviously have to share that with you again.

1. Oh yes, I completely forgot that Shanice and Jaap are a couple. In fact, a Perfect Match. I really want to know who matches these couples, because I really don’t see any spark between them.

2. But of course, Ivo is still talking non-stop about Shanice. It doesn’t matter if she’s there in the villa or not, she remains the only topic of conversation he has.

3. Hilarious that they all think Max and Faby really need to break up. Let them just like each other.

4. I love how Joey talks. ‘Guys, faka?’ And then continuously: ‘I loef this, I loef this.’ I seriously don’t understand 90 percent of his texts, but it makes me happy.

8. Jesus, that Ivo doesn’t know what he wants, does he? In the first minute of this episode, he thinks it’s nice that Shanice is out of the villa, and before you know it, he’s already proclaiming that he misses her and that he really didn’t see that coming.

9. But you can’t say that and then complain that you expected more support from the girls? Ivo, you’re impossible to follow and change your stance every minute. You shouldn’t expect those girls to go along with every high and low of yours.

12. Yes, finally a group date. I thought: nice, they can finally bond, they think: take what you can get. This is obviously going to get out of hand.

13. But what I honestly don’t understand is why anyone would still be interested in Ivo if he literally only has eyes for Shanice. Don’t you want someone who is constantly there for you?

14. And then still find everything around Floor so exciting. Make. Up. Your. Mind. It’s driving me crazy.

15. YAAAS. Bring on that Troet Boet again. There’s going to be drama. I can feel it in everything. This is going to be a treat.

16. Oooh, if this is a perfect match, then it’s going to get very grim. That poor Yasmin. Everyone hopes they are not a match. Conclusion: they will probably be a match.

17. OOOH, no match. Probably better for them, but now I’m very curious how they will handle the matches when there are only two certainties. Are they all going to gamble again?

18. Tonight is the final and I find it quite exciting. Will they take that money? In the first episode, I thought there would be zero chance, but they are doing much better than expected. That should be said.

19. But still… Ten of those beams? That’s really extreme to pull off.

21. No, but seriously: how impressive is this? They are just going to take those ten. I feel it. This is the first season of Are You The One? The Perfect Match in the Netherlands and they are just going to take that prize right away. How cool would that be.

22. Okay, FINAL TIME. Tonight is the moment of truth. Or as Kaj would say: the moment of troet. My alarm is already set for 7:00 PM. Excited.

23. Hellooooo, it’s even better. Right after the final, there’s a reunion. LOVE IT. I’m not getting off that couch tonight. Reunions are always deliciously juicy, so my expectations are high.
