Musthave: this water-based nail polish

Musthave: this water-based nail polish

Even if you look so disheveled, as long as your nails look nice, that's my motto. Well-groomed hands make a lot of difference. A little color on your nails often works wonders. Now, I don't always have the patience to paint my own nails. When I do take the time for it, it only looks good for two days, before I have to mess around with cotton pads and acetone again. I don't think it's worth it, which is why I have them done with gel polish or BIAB at a salon every now and then. This way, I can go a few weeks ahead. But the big downside is: it's hard to remove it yourself. Well, it can be done, but not without severely damaging your nails. You have to soak your nails for quite a long time in a bowl of pure acetone, and I have the feeling that my nails (and even my fingertips) are completely dying from this. At the salon, they have a device that makes this quick and easy. In other words: you have to go to the salon to have it removed, and most likely, you'll also give in again when it comes to a new color. So you keep going. I don't always have the time or money for this, or simply don't feel like it.

Do you recognize this scenario? Then I have found the perfect solution: water-based nail polish. This miracle product dries quickly and is not harmful to your nails. Swedish supermodel (and a big style icon for me, so I'm already a fan) Elsa Hosk has developed this polish in collaboration with beauty company Beaubblex . The best part? It's a peel-off nail polish. So when you're tired of the color, you don't have to mess around with acetone anymore, but you can simply peel off the nail polish like a sticker, without destroying your nails. Amazing, right? The nail polish is available in six dream colors. Unfortunately, I'm not the only one who is so enthusiastic about this idea: the first drop is already completely sold out. I was really bummed. But luckily, there will be another drop soon, and then I will obviously load all the colors into my cart.
