Netflix Tip of the Day: Sexify

Good afternoon on this dreary Tuesday. Yes, I don't know, but after the coldest April ever recorded, are we going straight into a rainy May? I don't think so. Don't call me. The temperature might be a bit more pleasant, the only difference is that I no longer have to put on my gloves but keep my hood up. At the moment I wrote this, thank God it's dry, but for how long?
So I'm doing what many others do: I'm staying cozy inside. With Netflix. Now I've watched all four seasons of The Bold Type for the second time and was a bit desperate. Watching a series again was getting a bit sad. That's why I went on a little search in Netflix (plenty of choices, you'd think?) and I found something.
A Polish comedy series called Sexify. Polish? Yes, fortunately, there are subtitles. I found the plot quite funny: a female student wants to develop a sex app, but runs into a little problem. She has never had an orgasm herself and is quite inexperienced sexually. To make her app a success, she will also have to immerse herself in the wonderful world of intimacy.
Okay okay, it does sound a bit cliché and very romcom material, but check out the trailer below, because I think it looks quite funny. It probably tries to come close to Sex Education (and you set that bar very high for yourself, because I love Sex Education), it's wonderfully awkward, a bit cliché here and there but above all: it’s very easy to watch.
I just watched the first episode and didn't drop out. In fact, I'm going to watch the second episode shortly. The first season consists of a total of eight episodes of about 50 minutes each, so you'll be entertained for a while. A lovely snack, if you ask me.
