Back from Copenhagen? Then you can immediately pack again to be on your way. Next stop? New York. And we’re not just talking about Proenza Schouler and Jason Wu, because Serena and Blair are also in attendance, walking down the runway retro from the future and turning a grocery run into something forever different. How exactly does all this work? I’ll take you along. From the best seat in the house, or rather your couch, these are the highlights of New York Fashion Week.

1. In the mood for love: polka dots and bubblegum are what you’ll only want to wear this coming season thanks to Prabal Gurung.

5. A mix of glamour from the renaissance and downtown cool, or XOXO Gossip Girl, is what inspired Alice + Olivia’s new collection. I mean, who wouldn’t want to walk around like Serena and Blair? Love it.
