Royal Report by Prince Charming episode 6

Oooh, I was really looking forward to this all week, because this promised to be a very juicy episode. Why does Chris storm back into the Palazzo crying? Is Casper not going home after all? Did the guys do more than just sleep together? Tell. It. Meeeee. Well, you can say a lot about Prince Charming, but they really know how to do those cliffhangers. Let’s gooo.
1. Finally, we find out where these tears are coming from. This is going to be draaaama.
2. Wait, WHUT? Was that whole cliffhanger seriously about these ten seconds? They are narrated by Chris, who discusses the event in a bigger and better Tel Sell voice. I feel cheated.
3. I really feel like a banal and uneducated character right now, but what are they saying? A collar? Just a necklace, right?
4. Wow wow wow, gossip about Jakop and Casper? Sex in the room? Can we briefly discuss this ‘gossip’ before this argument?
5. HAHA. ‘Mister theatrical.’ Love it.
6. I still can’t reconcile Rick’s looks and antics with that Brabant accent. Every time he tells something, I’m a bit shocked again.
7. But the big question now is: who started this gossip? It must have started somewhere, right? Do people just make this up?
8. Rick: ‘Hi Chris, why me? Well, you can’t get better than this. With a wink, I always bring some humor.’ And then in such a dry tone. Honestly: I had to laugh. So it works.
9. Well, do they really have to rate the other guys now? How incredibly sly this is. The production definitely did this to ramp up the drama a bit more.
10. *fingers crossed that Jimmy and Rick don’t end up together because then the whole episode will explode*
11. This really brings back memories of the old gym classes. Not being chosen is just always crappy, whether you’re eight years old or middle-aged, right? It always hurts.
12. Also a peculiar task to have the participants give each other a kiss. Yes, that’s how you get that gossip out into the world.
13. That Michael just zoomed past everyone, including injury. That man went hard.
14. So. Awkward. Reading everyone’s comments out loud, open and exposed. Seriously, this season is really going all in on drama.
15. That Chris is going on a date and that all hell breaks loose among the other guys. It can’t be any other way, right?
16. I have to honestly say that I don’t see a spark between Rick and Chris either; I actually think he’s going home this episode. The tension isn’t exactly palpable, and he talks quite a bit about himself. HAHA. Chris even asks if he wants to know something about him.
17. This is definitely something Chris already knew from the producers. ‘Have you ever been proposed to?’ is otherwise a really weird question. Or is that a very normal occurrence that I just happened to miss in my life?
18. What a heavy and sad story from Michael, and how beautiful that he can share it like this. I feel like Chris thrives in these kinds of conversations because then his conversations at least flow organically.
19. ‘I had promised myself not to drink too much’ is what I understood from Marcel. I seriously thought: have you already hung out in a wine barrel before going to the date during the day?
20. Aaahh, but it was ‘thinking’. That explains a lot, and I’m not surprised but still disappointed that my first association was alcohol.
21. Honestly, I understand Jimmy’s doubts. It’s also quite strange that two people won a challenge yesterday and thus a date, but that Chris ultimately still chooses who he wants.
22. You can’t force love, of course (this could go on a tile), but I don’t feel like everyone gets an equal chance to get to know him.
23. I do feel so much tension between Chris and Marcel. It really radiates off. And then finally a kiss. Marcel: you could have done that much earlier, like floating on the unicorn, for example.
24. That ceremony is still very exciting. I’m betting on Rick. That click just isn’t there (enough).
25. No matter how uninterested he looks when Jimmy gets the pin; I fear those two won’t become friends anymore.
26. What is that heart? Is it a cookie? Jesus, my fat ass thinks of drinks or food with everything. But for Jimmy, I hope for a date. It’s about time, I’d say. And wear that suit with the pink blazer, because that’s really cool.
27. So, Chris doesn’t even make it really suspenseful when it comes to who’s going home. Maybe I’m a bit too attached to the America’s Next Top Model way with the whole ‘Two beautiful girls (guys, in this case) stand before me…’, but this was really quick.
28. #durftevragen: could his choice have been somewhat influenced by the fact that none of the other guys thought this would be a match?
29. And then for Rick: keep your hairstyle like that. Looks much better. Or do whatever you want with it, even better.
