Ready in 3 minutes: pizza in a mug

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: pizza in a mug.

To describe how much I love pizza… That is really an impossible task. It is an intense love. It is a versatile love. It is a love that I would prefer to see multiple times a week. A love that absolutely does not match my scale. It is pizza. Need I say more?

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp flour
  • Pinch of baking powder
  • Pinch of baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp grated cheese (also nice: gorgonzola!)
  • 5 small slices of pepperoni
  • ½ tsp dried Italian herbs
  • Optional: other vegetables like bell pepper or onion

I really mean it when I say that I could eat pizza every day. And the advantage of too much pizza in the evening is that you can have pizza for breakfast in the morning. All fun and games, but then I still miss something essential: lunch.

Don't sulk, make a pizza in a mug
Missed, I should actually say, because I found something for that: this pizza in a mug, which is really ready in no time. Another plus: the size is modest, so you can still eat it reasonably guilty free Win-win, let’s go!

  • Mix the flour, olive oil, baking soda, a little salt, and baking powder together in a mug that is suitable for the microwave (handy);
  • Then add the milk and mix it into a whole;
  • Then put the tomato sauce on top (and do not stir – molto importante!);
  • On top of that, distribute the cheese, pepperoni, and any other ingredients (I will definitely try it with gorgonzola) and the Italian herbs;
  • Put the mug in the microwave for one minute and twenty seconds (on 1200W);
  • E finito!

A child can do the laundry, right? Pizza lovers, we can make endless delicious creations with this, believe me.
