Want to see: Sex/Life on Netflix

There is a new series on Netflix and it is hottttt. As in: Fifty Shades of Grey hot. As in that incredibly bad 365-movie hot. But then — it apparently can be done — with an actual story in it. Okay, maybe not Oscar material, but it’s enjoyable to watch and not as ridiculously bad as the aforementioned two films. The entire first season is now on Netflix, which is of course a big plus.. Sex/Life is the latest addition and if the title hasn’t given it away yet, there is indeed a lot of sex in it. Main character Billie Connolly seems to have the perfect life, but behind that facade, there’s more going on. One important thing is missing in her life: sex.

She hasn’t had it with her husband Cooper for a year now. Longing for intimacy, she thinks back to her student years when she lived like a wild single in New York, together with her best friend Sasha. That’s what she also wrote her PhD about, yes: monogamy and the female orgasm. One person in particular often comes back in her memories: ex Brad, with whom she had the best sex ever.

When she finds out that none other than her best friend Sasha is now having that best sex ever, because she is with Brad, everything goes wrong. You just have to watch it, because this is Fifty Shades of Grey to the max. And then without a terribly annoying Anastasia who constantly bites her lip and those cringy dialogues. Delicious.
