Yesss, the closest we can currently get to Spanish-speaking countries is by watching Netflix series. La Casa de Papel, Vis a Vis — yes, bring it on, a little cerveza on the side and it's just a fiesta. Well, not exactly, of course, but that curfew is going to be announced tonight so count on me being mostly found on the couch in the coming weeks. The chance is huge that in two weeks there will be a Wieke-shaped pit in it.

It's nice if we actually have things to look forward to. It's quite a bummer that many series have been postponed due to corona (I was so looking forward to Sex Education, which was supposed to return in January), slowly new series are coming back. Including this one, from the same creators as La Casa de Papel. I announced it earlier, in December 2019, and now it's finally here: it's done.

Now I can imagine that you don't remember what I proclaimed in December 2019, so here's a little refresher: the series is called Sky Rojo and revolves around three prostitutes who go on the run after they seriously beat up a pimp in a strip club. La policia, they need to stay away from them, and so the first season is about their escape. Road trip 2.0 then.

The first season has eight episodes of about 25 minutes each, so yes: you'll probably get through it in a rapid pace. But hey, another day of binging that we can put on the schedule. And, you can mark that schedule for March 19, because that's when it goes online. CAN'T WAIT.
