Yes, Selling Sunset is getting a spin-off

The latest season isn't even out yet (November 24 is the day, finally) but we have even more to look forward to around Selling Sunset, the series that suddenly made me question whether I had found the right career. Shouldn't I become a realtor? In California? I mean: how hard can it be? I did come back from that thought, writing about it is much easier for me and I really can't handle that bitchy behavior in the office, but it's still a treat.

And it’s going to be even more of a treat, because a spin-off of Selling Sunset is coming. Yes, that was somewhat expected. I actually thought it would be in Miami, or in New York, but no… It has become The OC. Also lovely.

Jason Oppenheim shares the happy news on Instagram, and he is also the first one we know for sure will appear in this spin-off. Whether Chrishell, Mary, and/or Christine will be seen is still a wait-and-see. Maybe it will be a whole new office with all new faces. That Chrishell will occasionally be seen is definitely certain, by the way, since she is still dating Jason steadily.

Who can we expect? Alexandra Hall, Austin Victoria, and Brandi Marshall. Who are they? No idea, but a little search on Google lets me know that they are already working for The Oppenheim Group. Real realtors, then. Also refreshing in a reality series, I still occasionally marvel at the fact that the current cast seriously sells houses alongside filming the series.

There is a good chance that Heather might make a move from LA to The OC, as she currently lives in Orange County with her husband Tarek El Moussa.

They have just started filming and the series will be available somewhere in 2022 on Netflix. Vague again, that ‘somewhere’. But well, we have something fun to look forward to again.
