Do the Apestroll: walking with Aperol

Apestroll, walking with aperol spritz

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: the Aperol Spritz walk.

Walking past the nicest restaurants and cafés in the city is standard on our agenda every weekend. With such a walk, where you enjoy the tastiest take-away dishes and cocktails drinks, we at least stay a bit in that cozy hospitality atmosphere. One of the newest walks on the agenda: the Apestroll. An Aperol Stroll, in short.

Just hearing Aperol Spritz makes us ready in our flip-flops at the starting blocks. As a drink, it’s incredibly tasty, but also in a cake, cocktail bomb or cheesecakeform, the bittersweet orange drink does particularly well. Against a walk entirely dedicated to Aperol Spritz, we say, you guessed it, no.

Stroll full of Aperol
The Apestroll was conceived by hospitality and Aperol Spritz fans Davine and Senna. They decided with the thought ‘every little bit helps’ to organize the Aperol Stroll through various (Italian) restaurants in Amsterdam. During a walk, you pass five different stops, or Spritz Stops, where you can get an Aperol Spritz and possibly a small snack (aperitivo).

Who, what, when?
Every Saturday and Sunday you can Apestroll between 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Registration is possible every Wednesday from 12:00 PM. Registering via the website costs €2.50, for which you receive a walking route back. For an Aperol Spritz, you only pay 5 euros at each stop and with an aperitivo 7 or 8. So what are you waiting for: just register, because before you know it, the walks are full.
