The 7 most beautiful Nature Houses in the Netherlands that you want to book now

The most beautiful Nature houses in NL that you want to book now

Now that we are skipping abroad until the end of March, I am enjoying myself within the borders. A weekend blowing away in your coat on Texel, a few days of sun on Ameland, and already twice to Dalfsen. I walk, I sit in garden rooms by the fireplace, I read books, I have the local cuisine delivered, in short: I find it a pleasure. That's why I recommend the nicest Nature houses to book in the Netherlands.

How does it work? On Natuurhuisje.nl you will find a treasure trove of private houses in forests, trees, by the water, on the beach, or the heath. With some easy filters, you can conjure up a list of your desires and just book. It's too simple not to try it at least once. That's why I made a selected by-list for you, to make that week or weekend away even easier.

1. Villa Poppenallee in Dalfsen
If you want a weekend or week where everything is taken care of, go to Poppenallee. Before your arrival, you will receive a message from Amalia with tips about nice local shops, the delivery options from local restaurants, and beautiful walking routes. Upon entering, the fireplace in the garden room is lit, and there is a cold beer in the fridge. It is cozy, it is spotless, it has a bath and an infrared sauna, and if it's your birthday, you get cake. At least, that's what I got from the little host Tjeerd (6) and hostess Hannah (4), along with the most beautiful craft when it leaked that I was celebrating my birthday in the Villa. I firmly believe this is the most hospitable little house in Dalfsen and the surrounding area. In the morning, the chickens roam the garden, and wherever you look, you see forest and greenery. It is an ideal place to go with the family. I picked up a nice bottle of wine and the tastiest cheese for a cheese fondue from the local cheese shop. And the next morning, I spent three hours on my breakfast by the stove in the garden room because even in the middle of winter, you can still sit outside comfortably. Although inside is just as lovingly decorated. I will definitely go back.

2. The tree in
I have a checklist on Natuurhuisje.nl, and the houses on that list are waiting in my favorites until I book them. The top three you see here is my personal top three. And I must/want/will sleep in this treehouse in Ansen at least once. You have a view over the Dwingelerveld National Park, and you sleep under the starry sky. It is said that the squirrels run over the railing, and I can watch squirrels for hours. Fire on, something tasty with me, and in between, take those nice long walks... I suspect I will never go home again. You have to look forward to this house for a long time because it is popular and therefore fully booked well in advance.

3. Enjoying in Lekkerkerk
I can already see myself sitting with a good glass of wine, a book, and a view of the Lek. After the hot tub, we will continue to the infrared sauna. Yes, my fondness for something tasty and a sauna or bath seems clear to me by now. Go With The Flow is located in the Krimpenerwaard, the area where half of my family comes from. Let it also be a family of skippers who know the Lek and the IJssel like the back of their hand. The house has everything for a romantic getaway for two. I will go on the waiting list, or does someone want to cancel? Because I would love to take your place.

4. Atmospheric in Sevenum
I would love to dive into this hot tub right away. The little house in Sevenum feels like you are in the French countryside. Nice, now that we are staying in the Netherlands for a bit. Also nice: you can book breakfast. Not that I am too lazy to make this myself, but I just find it a bit more of a vacation if someone else does it for me.

5. From the world at the Vinkeveense Plas
By boat to your own island to enjoy your vacation. It sounds like you have to fly to the Caribbean for this, but you only need to take the Vinkeveen exit on the A2. For me, it's only a 15-minute drive, I see options. Hideawaylake is the name of the house, where you can just retreat from the daily hustle and bustle. It has everything you need. A kitchen, wood stove, veranda, hot tub (yesss), and a sloop so you can explore the lakes.

6. We are going to Giethoorn
Normally, you walk over the foreign tourists, but now Giethoorn is ours for a moment. A perfect time to book the nature house by the Bovenwijde lake, which is located in the Weerribben-Wieden National Park. Via a bridge, you come to the house from 1937, which is completely 2021, with underfloor heating and a gas stove. I can already see myself preparing a charcuterie board in the open kitchen with a view of the sunset.

7.  Delicious luxury in Gelderland
Just leave out the ‘you’ in this nature house. The architecturally designed house in Tonden is super deluxe, large, and sits on one and a half hectares of private forest. You will need a whole family or many friends to fill it, so I would start making some calls so you can book. In the winter, even a little fox lives here. You won't get more nature than this.

My plan was to take a break next week and do some serious renovations at home, but suddenly such a Nature house sounds like a much better plan. Let's take a look at the last minutes. And then I will fill my favorites list with houses in Sweden for my road trip later this year, because they have those too.
