The way to stop walking around in your sweatpants all day

My score is about 2 out of 7. I'm just being honest. There are days when it even seems unnecessary to brush your teeth, although I do that anyway. A little self-preservation is needed. But working in joggers or sweatpants is definitely the new standard.
I zoomed with people in hoodies who normally never wear hoodies to the office. I interviewed people who admitted afterwards that they were wearing slippers. I got muted during bathroom breaks. So I find myself and my two days a week working in sweatpants a minor detail, especially since I do brush my hair and wear mascara. Although I sometimes do get a bit fed up with it, and that's why I've come up with a way to cut back. The challenge.
A challenge helps in everything. Thirty days of not drinking, thirty consecutive days of walking, thirty days of reading for an hour every day. But why is it always thirty days? Quite simple: except for February, every month has at least thirty days, the period is manageable and after 21 days something becomes a habit. So it's mainly easy for your planning and it's highly likely that you'll stick with it.
Now I hear you thinking: so you're going to wear no jogging or sweatpants for thirty days? No! Last year I did the challenge where I had to put together a different outfit every day, without buying anything. I'm going to do that again. So I can definitely wear those sweatpants, I just have four hoodies that match decently. That means you only have four sweatpants days left in one month and believe me: you want to save those for when the need is really high. Just like my two boiler suits that I normally live in, I choose those days carefully.
What do I gain from it? A month of not spent clothing budget, because I’m not allowed to buy anything new for myself (that’s cheating). At least three new clothing combinations that I had forgotten about and wear weekly, that’s what the previous challenge yielded me. A book of possible outfits, because I take a photo every day and save it in a separate folder in my camera roll. So it’s secretly also sustainable and to think it all started with a pair of sweatpants.
By the way, it’s not like you’re done with just a shoe change; you have to add or remove another clothing item to get a new combo through the selection process. Are you joining? I start today. It’s snowing and that works in my favor, because by the end of the month I expect bare legs and sun. Which means I have summer and winter clothing at my disposal. Only downside: I’m currently working in my sweatpants, so I officially only have three left.
Are you joining? Let’s start today and then we’ll wear something different every day until and including May 5th.
