Lately, I've become a bit more airy-fairy. I wouldn't call myself a space cadet just yet, but these days I do read my horoscopes and suddenly want to delve into gemstones. I have a little stone hanging on my wrist from my zodiac sign and a ring with my birthstone on it. Does it really have any meaning? No idea, but since I can't seem to sleep a wink during a full moon, I really feel like the universe, the cosmos, and the position of the moon and stars can have an influence on you. Probably a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy, but still.

Dating app Bumble — which, if I can believe my dating friends, is now the app of the moment — has conducted research and has come up with a number of dates on which you should go out this month. That means: you should start dating. Because apparently, I'm not the only one suddenly into my zodiac sign and corresponding horoscopes. You can now indicate your zodiac sign on the app, and people really did that en masse last month. Hilarious. That you swipe someone left or right based on his/her zodiac sign. ‘No way I'm ever ending up with a Taurus.’ HAHA. I'm not that airy-fairy. Not yet, at least.

September 19: a glimpse into the future
Okay, this is getting a bit too complicated for me, but let's continue: on this day, the sun is aligned with Saturn in Aquarius all day for Libra. What? Yes, I don't really know what to do with that either, but it seems to be a good time to think about your future without it becoming too heavy. In other words, the ideal day to contact that fling, crush, one-night stand, or something else to have the ‘what are we actually’ conversation. As a cherry on top, this is also a good day for the Cancers among us, as they are surrounded by good energy. In other words: date night.

I'm already marking this date in my calendar because it's full moon again. So I won't get a wink of sleep, but that doesn't matter because this is apparently also a good time to visualize your future and what you want to achieve and desire from your potential relationship. The last perfect dating day of September is on September 27, especially for Libra. The retrograde begins on this day and is ruled by Venus, and no, I have no idea what that really means. But apparently, the retrograde period is perfect for taking a good look at your relationship or fling. Is this really what you want? Is it enough? Is there love involved? They do warn that you shouldn't rush into any new insights too quickly, but should let everything settle and then come to a decision.
Well, four dates in September, that should be doable, right? Although I don't know if you should immediately tell your date why you want to meet on that specific day. I'm mostly speaking for myself here, but I guess I might scare off my potential date if I say that the retrograde has started and that's why I'm reflecting a lot.
