Oooh, what a delight this was. I'm always in a great mood when I find myself in the courtyard of Jansz. because honestly: this remains one of the most beautiful spots in Amsterdam. But they now have something new, namely the Rosé Garden. It is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until 6:00 PM, which is an ideal way to kick off, celebrate, or wrap up your weekend. The first was the case for me, with a glass of MiP (okay, several glasses…) and some snacks to share.

For the lovers, there are oysters on the menu, but this time I went for the burrata, the toast with pea cream, the asparagus, and alright, also the ravioli and the cheese platter. No worries, I shared it all and I mention all the dishes because I can't name one that was my ultimate favorite. I honestly haven't eaten this well in ages, and drank, because that MiP tastes so good every time.

So if you're looking for a good spot for drinks on the weekend: this is where you want to go. Luckily we had some sunshine, but the courtyard is well ‘covered’ with umbrellas. Handy, because you really never know with those rain showers nowadays. And, there's a good chance you'll spot me again, because this will be my new weekend hangout.
