Every day I do a standard online beauty round and then I start the day with Rose Inc. by Rosie Huntington. Earlier this year she had a collaboration with the French La Bouge Rouge Paris and I don't know if you're familiar with this brand, but this is the Rolls-Royce of cosmetics. The brand has only one goal: sustainability. Therefore, they launched a makeup line this summer that is fully refillable and comes with recyclable packaging. They are actually taking it a step further, as they have chosen to use NO plastic in this collection, not even recycled plastic. And when you see the products, you almost wonder why we still use such materials, because the items look stunning. Like the Red Serum, a – the name says it all – red lipstick that after six years of research in their own lab has a formula without beeswax, synthetic wax or silicones, yet feels super soft and is long-lasting. Or the La Terre, a natural bronzing powder that improves the skin, but also hydrates for a complexion that lasts all day. It contains rice powder and hyaluronic acid and is made without microplastics, talc or silicones. Check out the website of Skins Cosmetics, because there you can find the entire collection. And as the cherry on top, all products can be personalized with initials of your choice. A deep bow to La Bouge Rouge; many brands can still learn from this.
