MAC cosmetics studio radiance face and body foundation

There I was, all set up with a cup of coffee for the foundation masterclass of the one and only Tom Sapin. He has worked for over 700 fashion shows in all major cities, appeared in 70 (!) different TV shows, and has been a global senior artist for M.A.C Cosmetics in Paris for ten years. So we can say he knows what he's talking about, right? He introduced the new M.A.C Studio Radiance Face and Body Foundation and I must honestly admit that I thought it would be very covering beforehand, but now that I've tried it during this Zoom session, it was actually the opposite. He already called it a perfect foundation for ‘French women’, because they generally want to look as natural as possible. So it's one with a my-own-skin-but-better transparent finish that is also waterproof and stays put for eight hours. This is exactly what we want, right? He secretly also mentioned that if you want to ‘cheat’ with a foundation, this is one you can do that very well with. What he means by that is that you usually choose a foundation in the color of your complexion, but with this one you can play a bit and opt for a shade darker if you want to look a bit more bronzed, for example. Just don't forget to take your ears and neck into account, okay? Prefer a bit more coverage? That’s also possible with this foundation, all you have to do is apply a drop on the back of your hand and warm it up a bit with your fingers, which makes the liquid foundation – which is really very liquid, almost watery – warm up. As you do that, the substance becomes thicker and fuller. This is the makeup secret according to Tom, which is why this foundation is the one that is used so much backstage at shows. I must honestly admit that I am positively surprised by this new Studio Radiance and it is truly an absolute recommendation if you prefer not to wear foundation but still want an even, well-groomed skin.

Does the Face and Body sound familiar? That's right: twenty years ago they introduced the first variant, but the iconic product has a new name and is now available in thirty different shades.
