It may sound a bit sad, but I really can't handle change very well. It used to be worse than it is now (or maybe I've learned to cope with it a bit better), but it was often really unbearable. A change in my standard week could completely throw me off balance. But not only in terms of habits, I was also really lagging behind in gadgets and handy tools.

Like online banking; I really didn't do that for a long time. Let alone that ING app, which I seriously only installed a year ago. And paying with your phone? I did that the day before yesterday. Sometimes I really feel like I'm still living in 2001.

The same goes for my earbuds for my phone: I was still using those old iPhone earbuds whose wire constantly got tangled. Everyone thought I was crazy because those wireless earbuds were such a breakthrough. My stubbornness and resistance to change meant that I only switched last Friday, and I have to — as is usually the case with all changes — admit: you were all right. So I never want to go back to the Stone Age where people used wired earbuds. The horror.

I chose the ones from Huawei that don't have that weird little ball you put in your ear (as you can tell, my jargon is still stuck in 2001 when it comes to these kinds of things), but it does have noise cancelling. I can tell you: the sound is also much better than that of the competitor I was using before. They are called the FreeBuds 4 and I'm also really happy with the color (as if anyone sees that, but it's the thought that counts), because they are anthracite gray.

Yesterday I did the ultimate test: do these things stay in place while exercising? Because I love listening to music while working out, but those annoying wires kept getting tangled. And yes: they are sportproof. Maybe I'm finally going to live in 2021 because so far, I'm not disappointed in terms of gadgets.
