Confession: I can be quite chaotic. As in, I sometimes forget appointments that I made well in advance. Then I suddenly have two dinners in one day, one of which I completely forgot. Quite inconvenient. I once tried to put it in my iPhone calendar, but that didn't work at all. In that respect, I might still be a bit old school: I prefer to write it down by hand somewhere on paper. That way, I can review the week at a glance.
But the eye wants something too, right. So a standard planner where you can also fill in class schedules, that's not for me. No, I ended up with SuccesPlanner because wow, what beautiful products these are. A leather cover — with your own name engraved — and besides functioning as a planner, you can also write down all your goals for that week or month. Just like I prefer to write down my tasks and appointments instead of having them digitally, I feel the same way about certain goals: it works so much better to write it down for yourself.
Recognizable? That when you just received such a beautiful new book like the SuccesPlanner, you always feel a bit sorry to start writing in it. I really felt that here. But well, by now it’s fully in use and I can only say that since then I haven't forgotten a single appointment and I find it a real joy to keep everything organized.
And writing down those goals for myself really works in terms of motivation. I was always a bit skeptical about it, but I’ve changed my mind. And writing down that ‘best moment of the week’ every week also cheers me up, especially when it's pouring rain in the middle of summer in the Netherlands.
