The appearance of a cream or soap is nowadays almost more important than the content. ‘The eye also wants something’ you could say, because that one nice bottle looks a lot nicer in your bathroom than that bright green jar with a white lid, right? That's why brands nowadays create the most beautiful packaging. But the classic timeless brand Molton Brown does it completely differently: they are going back to their roots. They are blowing out fifty candles this year and the bestseller Orange Grove that you now see in stores as Orange & Bergamot has a limited edition jacket. And it looks strikingly similar to the label they started with in 1971. This legend is also the favorite of The Queen, and I understand that. Especially the hand cream is one that is very nice: it smells good (of course), absorbs quickly, makes your hands feel very soft immediately, and you only need a little bit which means it lasts a long time. I am a fan.
Psst: it will take a little while longer, so maybe I am too enthusiastic now, but I think this is the perfect Mother's Day gift. The limited edition you can shop here.
