Thomas Markle speaks out after the Oprah interview

That Meghan and Harry haven't exactly made friends with their tell all interview with Oprah, that is clear. But on the other hand, with friends like Prince Charles and Thomas Markle, you don't need enemies. No, you'd rather be rid of them, especially since Oprah revealed that it was in no case Queen Elizabeth or Philip who made the much-discussed statement about Archie's skin color. That leaves only two options: Prince William or Prince Charles. And well, Prince Charles is indeed the most logical option...

So you have to rely on your father, even in Meghan's case. Her father, Thomas Markle, was a guest on Good Morning Britain this morning (that man also doesn't miss a chance to speak out, in my opinion) and there he said about the interview: ‘We all make mistakes, but I've never played naked pool or dressed up as Hitler — like Harry did.’

Dressing up as Hitler, that's pretty ugly indeed. But playing naked pool, well, that's something everyone should decide for themselves, right? Anyway, I find this response a bit strange. Meghan said she felt betrayed by her father and then this is his answer? ‘I take quite a few things pretty ugly and badly, but hey, I will never show up dressed as Hitler at a theme party.’ Ehh, okay?

Of course, the statement about Archie's skin color was also discussed and Mr. Markle had a lot to say about that too. To begin with, he found the British royals not racist at all and had a lot of respect for them. No, it was quite the opposite: Los Angeles and the whole state of California are extremely racist.

Is it just me or is this also quite a non-answer? Anyway, if it's true, it has nothing to do with the story whether LA/California is racist or not? Odd comparison, in my opinion.
