I am really in love with Brigitte, our contributing editor from Franska.nl. You want to be like she is. When Brigitte is around, the sun shines and a glass of wine is poured. She can do anything and does everything and even gave me a cookbook she wrote some time ago: ‘The kitchen of Brigitte B. One thing leads to another’.
And because corona does silly (and also fun) things to people, I suddenly find myself cooking from cookbooks. Yesterday I made a Romesco cream from Sergio and tonight it will be Brigitte's saffron cod curry. It is a delightfully clear cookbook with easy recipes with a special twist and oh, just like Brigitte herself: it makes life just a little bit sunnier.
