Good day from the sunniest Bonaire. Yaaa, I'm making you a bit jealous with my destination, because it is just delightful here. In the coming weeks, I will be tasting the life of a digital nomad (which I always find a bit of a silly term), but I must honestly say: I did underestimate that sun power a little bit. So really baking in the sun is not for me, but safely reading a book in the shade is definitely on the agenda.

Because I devour quite a few books when I'm away from home. At home, I also love reading, but I can’t really find the peace for it. I make up for that when I'm on vacation, or like now on ‘work vacation’ (although the work part doesn’t feel very much like work). My latest acquisition: The Spider, written by Barry Levine. This book is about the life of Jeffrey Epstein and yes, even if you have seen the docu about him on Netflix, this is really a recommendation.

Because what is this bizarre. This man was much worse, filthier, and more disgusting than I thought beforehand. There are statements from his victims (many who want to remain anonymous), his friendships with people like Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, and it tells about the way he made his money. Spoiler: that was not in a kosher way either.

This is one for true crime enthusiasts, for bookworms, or for people who want to know more after watching the documentary.
