Party with teddy flag garland, from €24.95 Teddy & Beer

I bought them exactly a year ago at Teddy & Beer. With a horn from a baby bump and a laptop that barely fit comfortably on my lap, I typed my son's name in a message to the designer of the brand: Enzo Zéno. It was something fun, quirky, and exciting to write down the name and share it with someone before Enzo was even born. But all for those cutest handmade flags that she personalizes with names through her embroidery art. I could already picture it on that pink cloud. Right by the window when he’s just born, or by his crib? The playpen? Or maybe to decorate his little baby toes during a newborn shoot?

Although Enzo decided to stay put a little longer, that pink cloud never really existed, and the flags remained in the hiding place (that I had thought of before the birth) for weeks, those same flags are still my favorites. Nope, no newborn photos were taken with them, and they certainly haven’t brightened up any party as flags are supposed to do, but that’s okay, because when I think back to my ‘ordering moment’ I beam from ear to ear. Becoming a mother and then actually being one is the most beautiful thing. With or without that bumpy road. And guess what? The flags are super ready to celebrate Enzo’s first birthday in three weeks. To then hang them up again for his 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th… and 50th birthday as well. Anyway, long story short (#sentimentalsandy): these are the flags you want. The cutest to give (tip tip tip for an awesome baby gift and even more fun to receive).
