Why Wendy is the queen of Twitter

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the food lovers of online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat and what to cook. This time: why Wendy's bites back on Twitter.
The hamburger chain Wendy's is incredibly popular in America. Notable are the square hamburgers of the chain, the logo with the cheerful girl with the red pigtails, and the way the brand bites back on social media. On Twitter Wendy's doesn't let itself be mocked.
It's actually strange that Wendy's is not established in the Netherlands, while the two major competitors Burger King and McDonald's are very successful here. This seems to be partly due to Raymond Warrens, a snack bar owner in Goes. He opened a snack bar in 1988 and named it after his youngest daughter Wendy. Look, and then Wendy's could no longer open a burger joint in our country under that title, because Raymond had already claimed it for the entire Benelux.
