Yessss: David Fincher is going to make a Netflix series

Does the name David Fincher not mean much to you? It's forgiven, but if you love thrilling series and/or movies, you better remember him from now on. He is the man behind Se7en and Fight Club, two of the coolest movies of all time. Extra good news is that the writer of those two films will also return for this project, which has become a mega deal for Netflix. They signed a four-year contract. It is clear: the expectations are high at their headquarters as well.
There is already a title, it will be called The Killer and it will revolve around a hitman. If the rumors are to be believed, Michael Fassbender will take on the lead role. The story is based on a graphic novel by Alexis Nolent.
Can we also hope for a film à la Fight Club? Well, maybe. That four-year deal applies not only to this series, it is simply a contract between Fincher and Netflix. So if The Killer flops (which it won't), he owes us quite a bit of other content.
It's a bit of a shame that there is really absolutely nothing known about this project yet, as it is still in its infancy. But I have a lot of confidence in this. I am also really ready for a thrilling series that is well put together. I'm just going to put Fight Club on again right now.
