A fountain of fashion films is coming

Did you, like me, not have time to watch House of Gucci in the cinema? First that lockdown, then it was quite difficult to fit such a long movie into your schedule and before you knew it, it was already out of the cinema. But good news: you can now watch it at Pathé Thuis. From your own soft couch where you can just pause if you want to pour yourself a drink.

Haute Couture
A beautiful film about an older lady who works in Dior's couture atelier and is about to retire (against her will) and a young girl from a Parisian underprivileged neighborhood who blossoms under her wings.

Yves Saint Laurent
One of my favorite films about designer Yves Saint Laurent who takes over from Christian Dior as the youngest designer ever. A struggle between talent and psyche and a lot of fashion beauty.

Last Night in Soho
About the booming fashion years of the ’60s in London.

Icarus
With Daniel Day Lewis, you already have me on board. Immediately. This film also takes place in London and is about a fashion designer (Daniel, of course) who makes clothes for the wealthy and even for the royal family. He is single until he meets Alma, who becomes his muse and turns his life upside down.
