Helloooo and good morning from very sunny Jamaica. Yes, there are worse places to work, I can tell you that. And not to make you even more jealous, but right now I'm (at 30 degrees, indeed) by the pool with my feet in the water. Can I have an office like this every day, please?

Now I often work in a different place than my home or office (preferably abroad) and I always used to drag my laptop along. That was often quite a hassle, because my MacBook Pro is quite bulky and given my clumsiness, it would have long since ended up in the pool. That's why I made some good preparations and I'll share that tip with you right away. Super handy if you also work on the go often or just don't want to take that laptop everywhere.

As part of ‘treat yourself’, I actually gifted myself the latest iPad Air (with a keyboard included) and I can tell you: it's really a game changer. As the name suggests, it is indeed super light, mega fast, and that keyboard works really well. And if you complete it like I did with an iPhone and a MacBook, you have all your apps and documents right there. I'm going to keep working in the sunshine for a bit. It's absolutely no punishment.
