Bachelor Babble: Episode 9

For my feeling, Thomas's search for love has really begun now. I think I've been saying that for the last four episodes, so he hasn't really picked up any real pace yet. Meanwhile, there are only six ladies left and we still haven't had a steamy scene. But all props to the creators, because those previews remain incredibly juicy. Even if the episode is quite medium exciting *cough* last week *cough* they still managed to make it enjoyable for us.

But I have good hope, because the previews of this episode were really spicy. Will there finally be a real kiss? I now feel like a first-year student encouraging her friend to finally kiss her boyfriend for the first time. Dead exciting. Kissing, kissing, kissssing.

1. Episode nine, let’s go. This is going to be the episode that finally delivers on the previews. I can feel it in everything. This is going to be intense. We deserve it.

2. HAHA. What a delightful outfit Thomas is wearing. Is there such a thing as too much leopard? Shirt, cap; love it.

3. What I wonder is, what does Rick actually do all day when he doesn't have to chat with the girls and/or Thomas? I think he really has quite a relaxed time there.

4. My idea of a road trip is really going past sights and not... Driving in circles around a village. I understand that you don't have all day, but this looks a bit uneventful.

5. I feel you, Ascha. The only conversations we've heard between you two are about your work. That's sweet and interested of Thomas, but that's not how sparks are going to fly.

6. Indigo says she is not super open about her love life. She says this in a reality show she participates in for love. For all of the Netherlands. Make it make sense.

7. By the way, I think Merel is really putting in a lot of effort to bring the bandana back in trend. And it's working. I want one again now too.

8. I completely understand that those girls are finding it increasingly difficult and feeling butterflies. Hello, I'm already feeling butterflies and I don't even know the guy. ‘I'm immediately enchanted,’ he says about Inge. Isn't that just too sweet?

9. Okay, okay, are wedding plans already being made here? Helicopter, James Bond style, go for it. There hasn't been a tongue kiss yet, but a wedding planner is already half on board.

10. Aaahhh. What. Is. This. Wáárom are all those kisses so awkward?! As if it's always just that bad timing that makes it weird.

11. Inge: ‘No, I'm not going to start tongue kissing someone right away.’ Not right away? NOT RIGHT AWAY?! We're in episode nine, girlfriend. Come on. Step on it.

12. Ah, Merel is also on a date. I recognized her immediately from the back by the bandana.

13. Yesss, Merel. GO FOR IT. This is what we want to see. She just went for it immediately. Boom, final spot secured. What am I saying? This is just Mrs. The Bachelor we're watching.

14. I understand that Inge doesn't like that he kissed someone else, but... That's a bit of the whole concept of the show, right? I'm afraid she's way too sweet for a dating show where you have to share a man with over a dozen women. Understandable too.

15. Maureen: ‘I found the letter quite shocking.’ Me: ‘I don't understand the letter.’ No, seriously, what does he mean? I get the whole ‘you are here for me and not for each other’ part, but I didn't get that they had to take turns. Apparently, reading comprehension is not meant for me.

16. The question of the episode is: ‘And how do you feel about yourself?’ Thomas has literally asked this in every conversation. Pure interest, or... Lack of conversation material?

17. What a top that Ascha just immediately asks why Indigo and she are always skipped for that one-on-one date. Thomas's answer is quite medium. Unfortunately, I’m betting on Ascha packing her bags tonight.

18. Inge, hello? Earth to Inge? Meine gute, she was so relaxed during the date, but what a nervous wreck she has become now. Lines like ‘stay away from my guy’ with the girl next to you who did go for that full kiss is maybe not very obvious.

19. HAHA. Maureen is very glum because she thinks she has to pack her bags tonight and you can just see Inge looking relieved.

20. As Thomas now tells Rick what he actually hoped for from the cocktail party, it seems more like he wanted to see a fourth part of The Hunger Games.

21. Maureen has of course seen this coming for episodes, because she already said three episodes ago that these two were friend-zoned. I still hope they can catch a festival together in the Netherlands.

22. Oooh, next week the selection committee. A bit of make it or break it.

23. THREE ROSES? That's going to be a battlefield next week. Hoooly shitballs, this season is suddenly going so fast. Are we already having the finale with Merel and Inge in two weeks? Please stop time for a moment.
