The schedule of Lowlands is known

Schedule of Lowlands 2022 is known

YES. Ziiiiin in. We can go to Lowlands again and I am already counting down the days. I am so looking forward to it that the whole camping thing can really be taken away from me. In fact, I am even looking forward to that. The coziness at the campsite, the people, the line-up, even the delicious food there; Lowlands is really a heavenly weekend every year.

And the last ingredient for the ultimate pre-fun is now also here, because the schedule has just been announced. In other words: the planning can begin. I had of course already looked at the line-up and I must honestly say: it’s not bad, so I was a bit afraid that I would have to make choices, but I think it will be just fine. Nine times out of ten I miss all the bands anyway because I unexpectedly wander around somewhere else or am having drinks at the tent. I remind myself every year: at least take your top 3 with you.

The Opposites will close the Alpha on Saturday from half past ten to half past eleven — I would have liked it to be a bit longer. The last time they performed at Lowlands, I found it one of the best performances ever, so expectations are high. Just like the day after, when the Arctic Monkeys will close this stage. That honor goes to Stromae on the last evening, Sunday. By the way, make sure you start your Saturday at the Alpha, because Goldband will be shining there. Sunday was always my favorite evening, until Kees van Hond stopped coming. I can't be the only one who still misses that, can I?

But well, we do have a great replacement on Sunday in the form of Fiesta Macumba in the Heineken, or Amelie Lens and Kobosil in the Bravo.

Further tips from yours truly? The Kooks, Pendulum, and Jack Harlow are performing in the Bravo on Saturday. On Friday, Noah Cyrus and Eefje de Visser are in the Heineken. On Sunday, I will also be at Lewis Capaldi, who is playing at the Alpha, and then I will skip James Blake because he really bored me so much last time. Earlier that day, Froukje is performing at the Bravo and if we still want to laugh in the meantime, Kasper van der Laan and Comedytrain will take care of that.
