Everything you want to know about Camille Vasquez

The whole process of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard was of course quite spectacular, but there was a surprising person who emerged as the star of the show. Hilarious: I saw several people asking online yesterday ‘when season two would start’ of this new addiction. I had to laugh a lot. But a large part of those people also wants this second season because of break-out star Camille Vasquez, the lawyer from Depp's team.

Her spicy way of interrogating, the private chats she had with Johnny, the outfits, and of course the countless ‘objections’: we all love Camille. But who is this lawyer actually?

Camille Vasquez was born 37 years ago in San Francisco, California. Thanks to her parents, who come from Cuba and Colombia, she speaks fluent Spanish in addition to English. After high school, she went to study at the University of Southern California, where she graduated magna cum laude. She earned her degree in communication and political science and then went on to study law at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles.

In 2021, she was already noticed by Best Lawyers, who named her ‘One to Watch’. At that time, she was still working at the firm Phelps & Philips LLP, based in Los Angeles.

She now works at Brown Rudnick LLP, the firm that took on Johnny Depp's case. Johnny's team was completed by Ben Chew, Stephanie Calnan, Andrew Crawford, Rebecca MacDowell Lecaroz, Yarelyn Mena, Jessica Meyers, and Samuel Moniz.

In the meantime, quite a few fan accounts of Camille have been created on Instagram (her own account is private and has 623 followers) and her hashtag has already been viewed over 1.3 billion (!) times on TikTok. Yes, Camille is an internet hit. There is even a petition started to replace Amber Heard in Aquaman with Camille. I may have already signed that petition.

And, does such a case earn a bit, besides all the fame you get from it? Certainly, it is estimated that she will earn about $140,000 from the past six weeks, which she can then add to her bank account (which is estimated to already be around one and a half million). It's less than what all these film roles earn, but still, this seems like a lovely salary to me.

Haven't you watched this trial non-stop for these six weeks like I did? Totally understandable. But no worries, because here is a compilation of her best moments.
