Call me the biggest millennial around, but I love working in coffee shops. It's just that I don't drink milk in my coffee, otherwise I would probably order an oat cappuccino as well. Since not everyone lives in Amsterdam (no, really not), I often hop around the country looking for suitable coffee shops to work in. Requirements: good wifi, nice coffee, and something healthy for lunch. I’ll start right around the corner in Hilversum. Koffie&JIJ is one of my absolute favorites. They have a) delicious coffee, b) quite a few (vegan) lunch dishes, c) enough power outlets, and even if I hang around all day, they are still nice to me. And that means something. By the way, these kinds of places are almost impossible to find, so cherish them.
