Netflix tip of the day: The Recruit with Noah Centineo

Every now and then, I am a very simple person; put Noah Centineo in a movie or series, and I become a fan. I just remain intensely in love with this man, and of course, I know that his role in To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before is not his own personality, yet I choose to believe that he is just as sweet and romantic in real life.

Well, that dream is about to shatter, because he has landed the lead role in The Recruit — which is now on Netflix — and that is quite a different role. The Recruit is actually a thriller. Yep, let that sink in. From the perfect man in rom-coms to a lawyer who works for the CIA two days a week when his whole life gets turned upside down. Okay, I take everything back: this sounds really sexy.

He gets involved in a case concerning Max Meladze, who is locked up in a prison and threatens to reveal government secrets unless she is released. One thing leads to another, and before you know it, Owen (Noah Centineo) gets caught up in all sorts of chases, shootouts, and hostage situations. Loooove it.

And yes, as I said: the series is now online. So, it's binge time.
