Georgina, Ronaldo's wife, has a Netflix docu
I have questions, many questions

If you don't necessarily want to watch a match but still want to be in the football atmosphere, I can definitely recommend Soy Georgina, a ‘documentary’ or better said: a very long episode about Georgina Rodriguez, the partner of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Who is Georgina Rodriguez?
Once a saleswoman in a Gucci boutique, now the partner of one of the best and richest footballers in the world. ‘Once I sold bags, now I buy them.’ Georgina certainly doesn't deny her background (‘When I met Cris, I took the bus to work and he picked me up in a Bugatti’), but now she takes a big dive into her luxury every day. In her walk-in closet, you trip over the Hermès and CHANEL bags, she flies back and forth to Paris in a private jet to shop at Gaultier, and sits with her children on a yacht to watch the Monaco Grand Prix from there. Georgina now has 41 million followers on Instagram (in her bio, she cutely describes herself as ‘writer’) and sees it as her most important task to take care of their children.

Their children?
Yes, I also noticed that there were a lot of children in the same age group together. Unless Georgina produces world wonders and has had simultaneous pregnancies with just a few months apart, this all seemed impossible to me, but Cristiano (Cris) had ‘bought’ his first three children and ‘ordered’ them from surrogates. The last child is theirs together.

Are they married?
No, not that. Georgina can use everything and can play quartets with her collection of Swiss watches, but Cris hasn't gone down on his knees yet. I think that would be just a bit too expensive for him.
Are they happy?
Well, in the docu you hear her about him and him about her, but you don't really see them together that often. I have the impression that he loves having Georgina who organizes everything and takes care of the children, and that Georgina enjoys letting all her friends share in her life of luxury and is completely fine with that. When he scores, she cries tears of joy, and that can even bear the approval of Ronaldo's mother.

Is she the woman of his dreams?
Georgina often refers to their background: both were very poor. Ronaldo was so poor that his mother considered having an abortion because she was afraid she couldn't take care of him. Ronaldo's father was heavily addicted to alcohol and died before his son's success. Georgina's father spent years in prison for drug smuggling and died in 2018. Her mother died in 2011 as a result of a car accident.
Both are entrepreneurial. We know Ronaldo's story. Georgina went to England and worked there as a nanny and kindergarten teacher, then she went to Madrid where she got to work at Gucci. And the rest is history. I hope for both of them a very long one.
