The 3 tastiest mocktail recipes of this summer
Woohoo, hot girl summer coming through. Seriously, I am so looking forward to this summer. Admittedly: the heat from last week was maybe a bit too much of a good thing, but other than that, you won't hear me complain. We can go to festivals again, do fun things, sit on the terrace, go to the beach, go on vacation... SO EXCITED.
My orders on the terrace are also heavily dependent on the season. In winter, I often go for a red wine (and no way am I sitting outside on the terrace then), in summer it's time for cocktails. This year I'm also taking a slightly different approach: I'm really into mocktails.
I see them more and more on the menu at my favorite hotspots, but by now I can also make them perfectly at home. I had to, because many people around me are currently pregnant. On the day the rooftop terrace was declared open, it’s much more fun if they can toast with a nice drink too. So I asked them: which non-alcoholic drink should I get at home? What can I get that I also find tasty? Well, the answer was unanimous: Gordon’s 0.0. That was the number one of literally all my friends who for one reason or another drank alcohol-free.
And so that evening I got to work with different mocktails using Gordon’s 0.0. Not to give myself too much credit as a cocktail shaker, but it was really a big success. I actually find it really tasty myself, because I just don’t always need to drink alcohol. That’s why I’m sharing these three mocktail recipes with you, which are guaranteed to be a success at any gathering.
Wait, before I share those with you, I want to come back to all those fun festivals this summer. Because when you talk about festivals that everyone wants to go to, you’re definitely talking about Milkshake. Sold out every year and I totally get it: it’s such an amazing festival. Did you also just miss out on tickets this year? Then maybe I can help you, because Gordon’s has allowed me to give away tickets. Woop woooop. Leave a nice comment on Facebook behind or send a DM on Instagram, tag the person you want to take with you and fingers crossed that you will win.
