Heinz launches Mayonnaise mousse

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: mayonnaise mousse from a spray can.
It's white, it comes from a spray can, and it's not whipped cream. Guess what? Wrong, it's mayonnaise. The product developers at Heinz had a crazy idea and put that white stuff in a spray can. The result? Uh... special.
Unfortunately, the mayo mousse is not yet available in every supermarket, so we haven't been able to try it ourselves. But fortunately, food bloggers like LivingProef have. Those brave souls regularly taste new products from the supermarket, like the Doritos with pizza flavor (doesn't sound crazy), orange beer (success), and the pizza bitterballs (dry snack).

They were lucky enough to toss such a spray can into their basket and test it extensively. The review will follow, but we already see nice dollops of whipped cream. Look, that looks a lot more cheerful than such a shapeless blob that we usually dump next to the fries .
Neat dollops
The editorial team of Libelle also got their hands on a spray can, but they don't sound very enthusiastic. They try to get excited by telling themselves that mayonnaise can sometimes be quite airy, in a salmon mousse or a chicken mousse, but they don't really mean it. One advantage we do see: a Russian salad with neat dollops of mayo, Heinz itself dreams of white roses of mayo between the fried potatoes.
Spritzing away
Are we as straightforward as we think: spray can is sweet, mayonnaise is savory, and never the twain shall meet? We are happy to be convinced of the contrary; who has already sprayed that airy mayo over their frikandel?
