There's a good chance that today, on Christmas Day, you'll be out and about, but perhaps you have a lot less glitz and glam on the agenda for tonight, or otherwise tomorrow. In that case, I can imagine that it might look incredibly chill at your place. In PJs on the couch, under a blanket and with the tastiest Christmas leftovers, for example. Sounds like a perfect plan, right? The only thing missing is Falling for Christmas, Holiday in the Wild, I believe in Santa, Love Actually of course, The Holiday and... In the Swiss Hotel Sinestra, 11-year-old Ava is completely done with her parents during a ski holiday. She wishes they were gone and the next day her wish turns out to have come true...

3. Holiday in the Wild (2019)
Kate (played by Sex and the City’s Charlotte) is spontaneously abandoned by her husband during the holidays and decides to take matters into her own hands by going on a second honeymoon to Africa by herself. And yes: there she surprisingly finds more than just her old ‘self’. Love is in the air!

12. Single all the way (2021)

13. Love Actually (2003)
Of course, Love Actually is among these. The #1 romantic comedy among Christmas movies, which most of us can never get enough of. What was it about again? The new prime minister falls in love with the girl who brings him tea, while his sister has marital problems. A father and his stepson must cope with the loss of the mother, while the son is in love with a classmate.

14. The Holiday (2006)
And when we've talked about Love Actually, The Holiday certainly cannot be missed. At least as fun, if you ask us. The story? And you understand: it doesn't just stay at chatting...

15. A Castle for Christmas (2021)
This Christmas movie is about Sophie (Brooke Shields), an American writer who wants to buy a castle in Scotland, whose owner refuses to give his castle to an American. In search of a compromise, the two get to know each other better than they had thought beforehand. Guess how that ends. Moo-ha.

16. Godmothered (2020)
A touch of Bridget Jones and a little bit of Unchanted, that's how we can best describe the new film Godmothered. This magical Christmas movie directed by the director of Bridget Jones’s Diary is about a fairy tale world called Motherland, where all ‘fairy godmothers’ (or good fairies) are trained to later go out into the world and fulfill Christmas wishes. Eleanor (played by Jillian Bell) is a young fairy who can't wait to get started, but her first job doesn't go quite as planned.

17. De familie Claus 3 (2022)
And of course, the family Claus films number 1 and 2. Grandpa Noël aka the real Santa Claus, his grandchildren, Bracha van Doesburg, and the funniest Christmas elves (including Jandino!) on a winter sports trip and once again a lot of trouble make number 3 a favorite Christmas movie for the whole family.

Like in a real Christmas movie, love is in the air.

23. One Royal Holiday (2020)
With One Royal Holiday, we conclude entirely in Christmas spirit. This is, yes, a swoon movie. Anna offers shelter during a snowstorm to a mother and her son. And guess what? It turns out to be the royal family of Galwick. Anna shows the prince how they celebrate Christmas, and what blooms from that you can guess for yourself.
