See: trailer Inventing Anna is out

I find it such a bizarre and fascinating story, that of Anna Delvey. Or rather, the now most famous con artist of New York City, and far beyond. She is a German woman who managed to swindle huge amounts of money from her surroundings between 2013 and 2017. She slept in the most luxurious hotels, went on jet-set vacations that ultimately others had to pay for, and eventually ended up in prison.

Netflix obviously saw a story in this, and that makes perfect sense and is very nice for us. The real Anna Delvey is also back on the streets by the way, so she can binge in freedom as well. The series is called Inventing Anna, with Julia Garner in the lead role, and the trailer has just dropped. And honestly: it looks amazing.

Mark February 11th bold in your calendar, because then the entire season will be online. Funny: the trailer states that ‘the whole story is true, except for the parts that are made up’. I always love series based in New York City, but this one really looks like a treat. Even though she scammed people for millions, Anna Delvey (real last name Sorokin) is also very happy that her persona is now becoming a Netflix hit. She finally has the fame she faked for years.
