Keep wasps away? These colors are better not to wear

The wasp season has been open for some time now and despite the fact that we know these little creatures don't really have it out for us, we would still like them to just leave us alone for good. Don't get me wrong, I really don't want them to go extinct, but I'd rather not have them in my drink or on my hand. After all, no one has time to get stung on a lovely summer day. So far, I've only had it happen to me once (knock on wood), so I can't really complain.
That wasps love sweet things, I don't need to tell you. But did you also know that wasps have a preference for certain colors? This summer, you could take your wardrobe into account to keep those annoying wasps at bay. Which colors should you avoid? Unfortunately, those are almost all the cheerful and bright summer colors like red, purple, pink, green, light blue, and yellow. Unfortunately, it's also better to leave all your white items hanging in the closet, because wasps love those too. That I can be a bit bummed about, because I love wearing that color during the summer months.
Well, there's nothing else for it: it's going to be sweating in your black clothes these days, because insects find that the least attractive color. Additionally, you can also go for light brown or dark blue. In other words: try not to dress like a summer flower, but instead go for a breezy dark look.
If you just can't help it and still choose white or one of the other notorious bright colors? Then remember that you should never wave at a wasp. Because that only makes them aggressive. And we certainly don't want that.
