‘King Charles wants Meghan Markle to stop podcasting’

Strange to type: King Charles. But well, that is really his title from the moment his mother Queen Elizabeth II passed away. As we have come to expect from the British royals, there is always some drama. So now too, and Meghan Markle is once again at the center of it. As we all know, Harry and Meghan have stepped back from their titles and moved to Los Angeles with their two children.
As you might already know, Meghan was quite active on social media before her relationship with Harry. She even had her own platform called The Tig. But once you are in The Royal Family, those kinds of things are no longer possible. The Tig was therefore thrown in the trash, and Meghan's Instagram account was also deleted.
But now that they have stepped back from the royals, those kinds of things can happen again, and that is why Meghan has launched her own podcast: Archetypes. In this podcast, Meghan talks to historians and experts in the field of history and the stereotyping of women over the years. According to her, her podcast contains ‘uncensored conversations’.
And that is exactly what worries King Charles now that Queen Elizabeth II has passed away. Meghan's latest podcast was already postponed due to the death, but King Charles would prefer that the entire podcast never returns. Why? He would be ‘afraid that Meghan would exploit the death of Queen Elizabeth II in her podcast’. Phew, serious accusations.
Earlier, rumors surfaced that Meghan was not welcome at Balmoral Castle, where the former queen passed away. After all, Kate would also not be present, so it was more appropriate ‘if only the real family members would be present’.
The next episode will be released on September 20, a day after the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, and that is again a thorn in King Charles's side. That would mean that Meghan is the first member of the British Royals to speak out after this sad death.
Did King Charles confront Meghan about this? Not exactly, if we are to believe the rumors. He would have asked Harry if he could please convince Meghan that the whole podcast is an intensely bad idea and that she should stop.
Oh well, another day, another drama. And all of that for a relatively innocent podcast.
